Our Roots
DisasterCare Platinum (or DCP as we are generally known) was formed by the Directors of the National Flood School in 2006. The National Flood School has been training disaster restoration professionals in the UK & Europe since 1988. Although we are very proud of all our past students, we felt we could put in to practice a lot of the processes and practices that we teach in the classroom, better than some of our contemporaries.
Because of our scholastic and authoritative roots, Disaster Care Platinum is now the market leader in restoring technically complicated property damage in the UK. We count 70 of the most dedicated and trusted property insurers as our clients and deal with well over a hundred sizable projects monthly across the UK.
Every single project we restore is different and our customers’ needs are varied and always very personal to them. We treat every customer as an individual, providing empathy, emotional support, and above all, practical and technical solutions to restore your property. We are committed to supplying the very best customer service in the market and to ensuring our customer’s lives are put back on track very quickly at a time of great stress and emotional upheaval for them, following serious damage to their home. Also, our business began as a small, family-run business and is still privately owned and ran by the same family, which means less bureaucracy and more of our resources being channeled into serving our customers.
